Laser Liposuction in office

Liposuction was created in 1974 by a gynecologist in Italy. Many women and men want ways to remove unwanted fat from the body. As we go through the years, fat deposits increase centrally, and these are the perfect targets for treatment by laser liposuction. Laser liposuction is an easy office procedure that with some time invested in the procedure and recovery, can remove a noticeable amount of fat from central areas of the belly, inner and outer thighs, upper arms, and sides or love handles. With some skill, it can also be used to target fat in the chin and face.

Fat that is removed by liposuction can be placed where we want volume, such as the face, breasts, buttocks, hands. Because it is the person’s own fat, the body incorporates it as its own, new, natural fat. Over time we lose volume in certain areas and fat replacement can be used to regain the youthful appearance. It can also be used to enhance: fat transfer to breast is safer than other breast enhancement and is an alternative for women who do not want a foreign implant placed.

Liposuction and fat transfer do involve a modest recovery, generally 2 to 3 days of light activity at home, using a compressive garment for two weeks continuously, then 12 hours a day for the next four weeks. It removes more fat than can be removed by laser or cryotherapy or light methods that are commonly available. It does not remove as much volume as plastic surgery procedures done in the operating room under anesthesia.

How often do we say we wish we could take the fat from one place and put it to another?!  Now this can be easily done in the office setting.
